It acts as an axis that organizes the listening experience, helping musicians understand the music, sing more in tune, memorize, and anticipate sounds within a musical context.
Just like in learning a native language, it is through early and frequent exposure that a child absorbs music as a natural part of life and strengthens the development of their musical abilities.
